Official Rules

1. HOW TO ENTER
a. The Central Florida Parent Challenge Contest (“Contest”) will begin on April 13, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and will end on December 13, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Contest Dates”). For purposes of this promotion, each “Entry Week” will run between 12:00 a.m. ET Sunday through 11:59 p.m. ET Saturday (Sunday through Saturday), and there will be a total of twenty five (25) Entry Weeks – between 04/14/2008 and 07/01/2008 (seven (7) Entry Weeks) and between 08/04/2008 and 12/13/2008 (eighteen (18) Entry Weeks).
b. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): Enter online by visiting www.mix1051.com, www.sunny1059.com or www.102jamzorlando.com and follow the links and instructions for submitting your entry. Online entries must include the first and last names, phone numbers and valid email addresses of both the nominee and nominator, as well as the nominee’s complete address, city, state, zip code and date of birth. In addition, online entries must include a Nomination as described below. Or to enter by mail, legibly hand write the first and last names, phone numbers and valid email addresses of both the nominee and the nominator, as well as the nominee’s complete address, city, state, zip code and date of birth, on a 8-1/2x11” piece of paper and a legibly hand written or typewritten Nomination as described below. Mail your entry information with sufficient first class postage to: Central Florida Parent Challenge-Lori, 1800 Pembrook Drive, Suite 400, Orlando, FL 32810. All entries must be submitted during the Entry Dates. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. All entries submitted become the sole property of the Stations and will not be acknowledged or returned. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by Stations.
c. Nominations: Each entry submission, regardless of method of entry, must be accompanied by a brief narrative or explanation (“Nomination”) that nominates your spouse, your parent or legal guardian, or another parent or legal guardian who you know personally as a “Parent of the Week”. Specifically, each Nomination (not to exceed 200 words) must describe the parents’ (or parent’s or legal guardian’s) participation in their child’s or children’s life. Suggestions of subjects include any of the following activities.
(i) Volunteer Frequency/Extent of Involvement – Examples include describing how often or how much the parent or guardian volunteer interacts with the students, the school or a school department or program;
(ii) Community Outreach – Examples include describing how the parent or guardian is involved in the community (i.e., Does parent or guardian volunteer at Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, or any other civic or charitable organization, and, if so, how often?);
(iii) Family Education Enrichment – Examples include whether the parent or guardian takes the child on activities ranging from exploring nature or the “great outdoors” to activities at the local library, book club or museum;
(iv) Parental Involvement – Examples include whether the parent or guardian is an active member of the PTA or PTO, or whether the parent or guardian helps their child with homework and school projects; and
(v) Healthy Lifestyles – Examples include whether the parent or guardian helps their child promote a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and exercise (Does the parent or guardian provide nutritional meals or take walks or play sports with their child?).
d. Each Nomination must be the original creative work of each entrant and must not contain copyrighted materials or any other materials that may be restricted, prohibited or outlawed by federal, state or local laws. WOMX MIX 105.1, WJHM 102 JAMZ and Sunny 105.9 (collectively, the “Stations”) have the absolute discretion to disqualify an entry based on their sole judgment. The Stations, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any entry if such entry contains illegal, indecent or otherwise offensive material, or if such entry contains material whose content is deemed at the sole discretion of the Stations to be unsuitable (i.e., entries must be radio clean). Nominations that do not comply with these rules will not be eligible for the Contest.
e. The Stations are not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, or mail, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches. The Stations are not responsible for lost, stolen, mangled, misdelivered, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries.
f. One entry per person and only one entry per email address regardless of the method of entry is permitted
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. Nominations may be submitted by persons 13 years of age or older by residents of Orange, Seminole, or Osceola Counties in Florida; however, parent or legal guardian nominees must be 18 years of age or older and must reside in Orange, Seminole, or Osceola Counties in Florida. Employees of the Stations, their licensee entities, their corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, other radio stations in the Orlando metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void outside the United States and where prohibited.
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest conducted by the Stations.
c. Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Stations will reject and delete any entry that they discover to be false or fraudulent. The Stations will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Stations will also delete any entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
3. PRIZES
a. Twenty-Five (25) Parent of the Week Weekly Prizes: One Weekly Prize will be awarded per Entry Week during the Contest Dates. Each Weekly Prize will include a two (2) night getaway in Cocoa Beach, Florida at the Holiday Inn Cocoa Beach (one standard room, quadruple occupancy) for two nights and four (4) visitor tickets to the Kennedy Space Center (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $502 each). In addition, each Parent of the Week Prize winner will automatically be eligible for an opportunity to win the Parent of the Week Grand Prize pending verification of eligibility.
b. One (1) Parent of the Week Grand Prize: A “Bahamas Prize Pack” including four days/three nights hotel accommodations for a family of four at the Sheraton Cable Beach Resort in Nassau, Bahamas. Grand Prize includes four round trip coach class airline tickets from Orlando to Nassau on Bahamasair airlines. Grand Prize includes hotel and airline taxes, gratuity and service charges, round trip destination airport transfers (from airport to hotel), four (4) lunch meals for a family of four, three (3) dinner meals for a family of four, and one (1) City Tour for a family of four. Bahamas Prize Pack travel must be completed by June 30, 2009.
c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Stations may, at their sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of Station management with respect to the contest are final.
b. Weekly Prize Winners will be selected by the Stations on or around Sunday on the week following the week of entry. Nominations will be judged by the Stations based on the originality, creativity and worthiness of the nominees’ activities or efforts as a parent or guardian.
c. Grand Prize Winner will be selected from all Weekly Prize Winners by the Stations on or around January 20, 2009 using the same criteria as described above.
d. Winners must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to complete, sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize. Prize(s) will be awarded in the name of the parent or legal guardian as nominated by the entrant pending verification of eligibility.
e. Unless otherwise specified in the prize notification, all prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Stations at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within forty five (45) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Stations are not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the winner’s full Social Security Number or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by the Stations in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in forfeiture of the prize.
b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Stations in their sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Stations, their corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. The Stations, in their sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Stations’ Web Sites or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
e. The Stations reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Stations, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Stations reserve the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
f. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Stations.
g. The Stations are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
h. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of the Stations at 1800 Pembrook Dr., Suite 400, Orlando, Florida 32810.
6. INTERNET SWEEPSTAKES PRIVACY POLICY
