Imagine…my dog in Times Square!   Right now thousands of people are looking up and seeing my Shih Tzu Oobie on a billboard in Times Square (if only for a second or two)  Oobie was entered into Purina’s “One In a Million Dogs” and will be featured on the Purina Billboard sometime Thursday Night between 9PM and 9:20PM.   CLICK HERE to view the billboard and keep an eye out for this cutie…

Return of Fido

May 21st, 2008 by chris.orion-wocl

Better stock up on Kibble!  You’ll need it if you’re one of the lucky 5 auction winners that will have their dog cloned!  For a starting bid of $100,000 you can have your living or even your deceased (if you have the dog’s tissue already on stand by in a cyrogenics lab) cloned.   The new pup will look almost exactly like it’s parent.  In fact, the company performing the cloning says they will be as similar as identical twins….BUT…your new dog isn’t garunteed to act like it’s elder.

Would you do it?  That’s alot of money!  And what if you have a Golden Retriever?  Or a black lab?  or a weiner dog (I’m not even trying to spell their name).  I mean really…have you ever seen one that looked different than the others?   If you’ve got the cash to spare, have your dog cloned HERE.

To the moon, Alice….or Fred…or Jeff

May 6th, 2008 by chris.orion-wocl

The chances of you laning on the moon and hitting a golf ball are pretty slim, but you could be part of NASA’s historic return to the moon.   Everyone is invited to click HERE to have your name put onto a microchip and sent to the moon on a lunar space craft.  The deadline is June 27, 2008

A Weekend in the America’s Oldest City!

April 28th, 2008 by chris.orion-wocl

I’ve lived in Central Florida since 2001 and have always wanted to go to  St. Augustine.   This past weekend, I decided to visit my buddy Fred and explore America’s Oldest City (established 1565, for those of you playing along at home.)  We had a great time exploring the history, the beach and the nightlife.   Below are a few photos of the trip.

This is the St. Augustine Lighthouse

The View from the top of the lighthouse. It's a LONG way down

It’s a LONG way UP! And a LONG way DOWN!

The view is worth the climb.

This is my dog, Oobie on her first trip to the ocean.  She loved it!

After her swim, we went for a run to dry off!

WOO HOO! Free money!

April 28th, 2008 by chris.orion-wocl

So the government starts sending out your $600 check this week.  I’m applying mine right towards a cruise!   I’ve talked to some folks who are going to save it and a few others who are gonna pay bills.  What do you plan on doing with yours?

Mobile Phone Ghost Detector

April 23rd, 2008 by chris.orion-wocl

Do you believe in ghosts? Whether you do or not, it could be important to know if one stops by your car, job or living room. Now, using your cell phone, you can tell if there’s a Casper close by. It’ll cost you 99 cents a month for the service, but look on the brightside, the call to “Ghostbusters” is free on nights and weekends.

Check it out here.
